About Keller, Texas
Keller was founded under the name Athol shortly after the Texas and Pacific Railroads were extended north of Fort Worth. In 1882, the area was renamed after a railroad formeman named John C. Keller. The city was incorporated in 1955.
Today it's just 7 miles north of North Richland Hills, making it a short drive to the popular NRH20 water park. Keller has plenty of recreation inside city limits, though, with over 400 acres of parkland.
